Accessed by: Qualifed teachers that hold a further Postgraduate qualification in SEN ie Postgraduate Diploma or Masters. This would need to be  in SEN, SpLD or a relevant field. The WIAT-IIlUK-T has particular application for testing for Access Arrangements and the Disabled Students’ Allowance. Suitable for measures of:



  • Single word accuracy

  • Reading comprehension

  • Reading fluency and/or reading speed

  • Single word spelling accuracy

  • Applications: for a reader; extra time; a scribe

The WIAT-IIIUK-T is currently listed as a suitable test for the Assessment of Specific Learning Difficulties (SPLD) in Higher Education in the categories of:



  • Reading: Single word recognition

  • Reading: Continuous text reading: silent reading

  • Spelling: Single word


The WIAT-IIIUK-T allows for flexible administration. Examiners may choose to administer a single subtest, a subset of the WIAT-IIIUK-T subtests, or all 5 subtests, depending upon the age level of the student, the purpose of the assessment, and the subtest scores required.


WIAT-IIlUK-T normative data and score types


WIAT-IIlUK-T provides up-to-date UK norms for children and young people. Based on a national, stratified sample of 744 children, the data accurately represents the current UK population aged 4:0 years to 25 years 11 months according to the 2011 UK census data.


Scores provided for all subtests


Standard Scores (M = 100, SD = 15); Percentile Ranks; Age Equivalents; Normal Curve Equivalents; Stanines.

Delivery

Expected delivery time is within 5 working days (any items not in stock will be put on back order and sent when available). UK delivery is charged at the following rates:

Overseas deliveries will be calculated on an order by order basis and will be dependent on weight and destination. The total cost will be displayed at checkout.

Returns

If you decide to return your order please return it in a saleable condition, with original packaging, seals unbroken and within 30 days of date of invoice. Please call us on 01784 222339 to advise us of the return. Please be aware that return postage and insurance costs of returns will not be refunded to you. Please obtain a proof of posting as you will be liable for the goods until received at our offices in the required condition.

Cancellations

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 customers in the European Union have the right to cancel their order within a period of 7 working days. We require written confirmation of cancellation either by letter or e-mail.

Shortages/Damages

If any part of your order is damaged, incorrect or incomplete please contact the Customer Services Team on 01784 222339 and we will arrange for the item to be returned and a replacement sent out.
